It is finally Friday!! I'm linking up again with Lauren @ From My Grey Desk
1. First off, today is my mom's birthday! Happy Birthday Momma! She is the most special woman in my life and I love her dearly. She's such an inspiration and woman of God, I strive to be like her every day and hope that one day I can be half the woman that she is. I love you mom!
2. I finally went and got a pedicure on Wednesday with two of my dear friends. I wore some super cute wedges that I found at TJ-Maxx, great right?! Except for the fact that I couldn't wear them out and had to wear these lovely green foam flip-flops from the salon :)

3. I spent more time with Alyssa and Torie this week. Torie is leaving for Thailand next week for a two month mission trip and we were trying to squeeze as much time in as possible!
4. It is finally summer vacation!! I finished off the semester with a 3.75 GPA so I was extremely satisfied this week kicking back and relaxing in the warm weather we've been having. God is good!
5. Jonny booked his flight this week as well! I'm so excited to spend a week with him in June and show him around BloNo!
Today, I'm linking up and sharing some photos of my dream wedding!! Ah, this is by far one of my favorite boards to fill on Pinterest!
This venue is so gorgeous, what a statement entrance!
I'm in love with these dresses, the sweetheart neckline...
mmmm... grey tuxes
This shot is perfect for a Washington wedding
This past weekend my mom and I painted and decorated my sister and I's bathroom. It was much needed. 6 months into our new home had been long enough! Here are some after shots!
View from the hall
The counter space feels a little bare to me... something decorative will be there soon!
We kept our same shower curtain from Washington so I'm not sure where we purchased that, I want to say Target? The towels and rugs were from TJ-Maxx and Meijer! The over the toilet cabinet is from Lowes.
This has become one of my favorite rooms in the house and I love having excuses to go in!
It must be prom season since Facebook is blown up with prom pictures. I thought I'd share my old prom pictures, from my senior prom and then Jonny's. My, how the time has flown by...

My best friend in the whole wide world.

Again, we're the bestests of friend :)
It's so weird to look back at these pictures and think that it was two years ago! It seems like just yesterday! It was so fun being able to go to prom twice - perks of having a younger man ;) My dresses both years were form fitting and sweet heart neck line... hmm, wonder if that has any indication of what my wedding dress will look like?
I hope you all are having a wonderful Monday!
Sometimes life gets busy, and busy life has been! I'm sorry for being MIA but with work and the semester coming to an end I have had no time to blog! After Wednesday though, I should be less frantic :)
This is my first time linking up with Lauren for High Five for Friday BUT I love reading others who have joined (so I decided to do so as well! :) Here are five of my favorite things from this past week!
1. My new job at ULTA Beauty starts on Sunday! I'm so beyond excited for this opportunity to do something that I love and get paid for it! Woop whoop, praise you Jesus for providing!
2. My pastoral reference and all my transfer student forms have been received at Northwest University! Now I just patiently wait for my acceptance letter!
3. After a long week, I was able to relax with my yummy new candle from Slatkin and Co. called Tropical Spice and nice warm bubble bath.
4. Finally got part of my closet organized! I LOVE organization and this had been driving me crazy for quiet some time now.
5. The best part of my week was Wednesday. Wednesday nights are my favorite because I spend quality time with Jesus and other young women as we take time to study God's word together and just be in fellowship. It honestly is the best mid week pick me up and I'm so blessed to have these ladies in my life.
One year ago today, the Heavens were celebrating as my sweet boy accepted Christ into his life. After being raised Catholic and I Christian, we began a year and a half relationship unequally yoked, and boy was that dysfunctional! Yet, by God's grace, mercy and love we are celebrating our one year of being equally yoked, being in full relationship with each other and God as the center of our relationship. Pure happiness.
I'm not sure where we'd be now, as being in a long distance relationship without Christ in the center of it all. But I do know that I am so thankful that we do not have to face that. I'm so thankful for a man who loves Jesus with all his heart who supports me and leads us in the way God has designed.
Thank you Jesus for your never ending mercy and grace. For blessing a sinner like me with a beautiful relationship.
"Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart." - Psalm 37:4

Day Two: Colour - Essie Lilacism and a purple borrowed from my sis.

Day Four: Someone who makes you happy - My handsome man. Oh my, I love him!
Day Five: Tiny - Eeeeeps, the cutest little Blizzard
Day Six: Lunch - left overs from dinner, delish!
I LOVE April. First because its my birthday month and second Spring is finally here! In Illinois we've been getting some very uncharacteristically warm weather apparently... no complaints here! I'm very excited to start this photo challenge from fatmumslim.com ! Check out her blog and hop on this challenge with me!
I got this idea to do a weekly recap from Hopes and Dreams. Check her amazing blog out here!
Monday:
Travel day! Leaving Jonny and Washington and heading back to Illinois. It was a bitter sweet goodbye as we hugged and kissed and embraced on the drop off lane of the airport. I did not by any means want to leave and go back to "real life" of school and working but, the plane wasn't going to wait forever for me. I learned a lot about our relationship this past week of visiting. We crave each others presence. It was such an amazing five days, honestly and completely revamped our relationship and falling in love all over again with each other. Complete happiness.
Tuesday:
Back to the grind of school and nannying. My body was a complete mess of jet lag, time zone change, early mornings, and on top of that two exams. What professor does that?! Give out an exam the day back from spring break?? Oh wait, I guess mine do... But, the weather was gorgeous, 80 degrees and sunny, so I guess I'll take that if everything else was a wreck.
Wednesday:
My favorite day of the week. One because I don't have to work and my classes start super late = sleeping in. Two, its my thursday, I love not having class on Fridays. And three, Wednesday means small group. I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE my small group. The women in this group have become my family and are such amazing women of God. I look forward to this night the whole week. This semester we're going over how to be a woman of integrity and what it means to be a Godly wife. Right up my ally! The last four weeks we've being discussing submission, that will be a whole different post. Anyways, tonight was a good night.
Thursday:
My Friday! Hip hip! I found out I got wonderful grades on my two tests from Tuesday AND a 100% on a midterm paper! Praise Jesus for his blessings. Today, I did a lot of day dreaming today. And I mean a lot. Dreaming of Jonny, our future, God's grace and love...
Friday:
Well, today I finished the Hunger Games trilogy! Holy moly, I've never been so into a book in such a long time! I wrote a little snippet of how impressed I was. I'm even going to the extent of saying I liked this series more then Twilight. HA! I was such a Twilight fan too. The rest of the evening was very low key, doing homework, reading, blogging. Yet, I found myself very spacey. Again, thinking about Jonny and Washington and longing to go back...
Saturday:
Such a productive day! Most of my homework got finished, my car got deep cleaned, notecards for an upcoming test knocked out of the way. Just a good day! And the sun was shinning and warm weather surrounded me. Oh and did I mention a Starbucks run with the family. I. Love. Starbucks. I'm also very addicted, obsessed, etc. with Chai Tea Lattes. Literally need one a day. So of course, any day with Starbucks in it automatically becomes a good day :)
Sunday:
Tonight is going to be an extremely hard at Fuel - my college church. It's our two pastors last and final nights. God has such huge and amazing plans for their lives and reaching the broken people that it's exciting to see Him use their lives and families. Yet, it is also sad to see them leave. Reflecting my week I've noticed that I've been very off since coming home from Washington. My good girlfriends with long distance relationships say that the first week apart is always the worst. And, I agree. I'm such at an awkward place. Trying to figure out where God wants me for next year school wise, keeping my self in the present here in Illinois and yet, so much of me is longing to be back in Washington. But, the Lord knows the plans for my life, He has given me a hope and future. Hopefully, next week will be a bit more normal.
This week's verse ~
"As in water face reflects face, so the heart of the man reflects the man"
Proverbs 27:19

I am so blessed and thankful for this man.
There are not enough words to describe my love for him, I honestly, goodness. So in love. Jesssh
HUNGER GAMES! HOLY MOLY! I CANNOT GET ENOUGH!!
I literally finished the trilogy in a weeks time - so good!
I'm pumped to see the movie. Not even kidding, better then the Twilight series... yes I went there. And I was quiet a fan of Twilight.
Highly recommend!
